Corries Duo storm to TT win to round off a good week

Corries Time trail ace, Miles Earl teamed up with roadman Phil Bray to win the Royal Navy mile 2up time trial held on the May 18th at Buckfastleigh. Earl, who took all of the club senior men’ time trial awards last year, has posted some fine rides already this year and is hitting form just at the right time. Phil Bray, more at home on tight criterium circuits last year has increasingly turned his hand to time trails this year and would prove the perfect partner for Miles. The demon duo stopped the clock with a 20.13 effort which was 9 seconds clear of second place. The Time trial win comes a few days after club chairman was victorious in his first race of the season. Riding in the masters race at the Torbay velopark, Sluman won a sprint finish ahead of breakaway rivals Ian Cullen (Mid Devon CC) and Adrian Reynolds ( Somerset RC)
