Here is the current list of club Trophies in no particular order:
Plymouth Corinthian CC Trophy descriptions
10-Mile Championship
Awarded to the rider with the fastest ten-mile time trial in an open event in the South West District.
25-Mile Championship
Awarded to the rider with the fastest twenty-five mile time trial in an open event in the South West District.
50-Mile Championship Sammy Jewell Memorial Trophy
Awarded to the rider with the fastest fifty-mile time trial in an open event in the South West District.
100-Mile Championship
Awarded to the rider with the fastest one hundred mile time trial in an open event. (Preference will be given to rides done in the SW)
Open Hill Climb Trophy
Awarded to the best overall hill climb rider in S.W.D.C open events. Points will be awarded as follows: 1st PCCC rider = 10pts, 2nd = 9pts, 3rd = 8pts etc.
Senior B.A.R – Westland Bowl
Awarded to the highest placed club rider in the South West Senior BAR competition.
Senior Road Race Cup
Awarded to the rider with the most BC points from open road races and criteriums in the South West District.
Veterans BAR
Awarded to the highest placed Veteran on time in the SW BAR.
Veterans Standard Cup
Awarded to the highest placed Veteran on Standard in the SW BAR
Matthews Memorial Cup – Ladies Club Event Series
Awarded to the lady rider who has accumulated the most points in the club event series.
Points will be awarded as follows 1st 10 points 2nd 9 points etc
Club Event Series
Awarded to the male club rider who has gained the most points in the club event series.
Points will be awarded as follows 1st 10 points 2nd 9 points etc
Ladies ‘10’ Trophy Ladies Championship Trophy
Awarded to the lady rider with the fastest ten-mile time trial in an open event in the South West District.
Ladies ‘25’ Shield
Awarded to the lady rider with the fastest twenty five mile time trial in an open event in the South West District.
Junior Time Trial Cup
Awarded to the junior club rider having the best performance in a time trial as decided by the committee.
Junior Road Race Cup
Awarded to the rider with the most BC points from open road races and criteriums in the South West District.
Juvenile Time Trial Cup

Juvenile Road Race Cup

Novice ‘25’ Mile Cup
Awarded for the fastest twenty five mile time trial by a novice rider in an open event in the South West District. The event to be nominated by the committee
Glide Shield
Freewheeling contest held at the end of the season.
Tourist Trophy
Speed judging contest held over a distance of ten miles.
Endeavour Cup
Awarded to the club member, who in the opinion of the committee, has consistently contributed to races, promotions, supporting club activities, and has earned the right of recognition for their dedication and enthusiasm.
Most Promising Rider Lewis Watts memorial Trophy.
Awarded annually to the rider who has in the opinion of the committee, shown most promise in the past season.
Bob Wilson Memorial Trophy
Awarded to the winning team based on the Bidlake system in our annual open fifty-mile time trial.
Biggest Hammering
Awarded to a club rider who has taken the biggest hammering in a race or club run.
Andy Flynn Memorial Trophy.
Awarded to the highest place Plymouth Corinthian rider in a open Road race or criterium promoted by the club or nominated by the committee.
Mountain Bike Trophy
Awarded to the rider with the most BC points from open mountain bike races in the South West District.
Mens Cyclo Cross Trophy
Awarded to the male rider with the most BC points from open cyclo-cross races in the South West District.
Points taken from 1st event following the club presentation until the last event before the club presentation.( or last but one if too close to get trophy engraved). (Points from club promotions are excluded)
Womens Cyclo Cross Trophy
Awarded to the female rider with the most BC points from open cyclo-cross races in the South West District.
Points taken from 1st event following the club presentation until the last event before the club presentation.( or last but one if too close to get trophy engraved). (Points from club promotions are excluded)
