Great turnout for the Pace and Steady club runs this week

1 min read

Great turnout for the 2 rides today! The Steady ride had a nice ride out over the Torpoint ferry into Cornwall then on along the coast to Seaton where they stopped for tea and cake at the newly re-opened cafe on the seafront (the cafe was almost destroyed in the winter storms). The Pace ride headed to Brentor to inspect the road race circuit ahead of the race next month, our mountain goats Simon Bevans and Owain Gibby are looking forward to it as it’s got challenging climbs in it which should suit them both and with other club riders entered including Sam Woods and James Cartlidge, it should be a formidable team on the day!  The weather was surprisingly good, a warm and sunny start to the day and we avoided the rain for the most part except for a couple of downpours and some painful rain on the run into Plymouth. See you next week!
